Welcome to Uncle Mudfish Charters! Capt. Randall Fowler is a Longboat Key native, he has been fishing these waters from Sarasota Bay to Tampa Bay for 25 years. Capt. Randall started his guide service Uncle Mudfish Charters 5 years ago. While fishing with Capt. Randall you will experience the beautiful white sand beaches of Longboat and Anna Maria Island. Inside the Tampa Bay area is filled with mangrove shorelines and exotic wildlife. Fishing in the Tampa Bay is always exciting from the shallow water flats and oyster bars that hold Gator Trout, schools of Redfish and Snook. The passes and beaches provide great fishing for Tarpon, Grouper, Sharks and many other species.
Uncle Mudfish Charters has a trip for families and for the more serious anglers looking for that fish of a lifetime. Most of the fishing is done with medium to heavy spinning tackle. All bait, tackle and licenses are provided by the captain and at the end of the day Capt. Randall will fillet and bag your fish.
The boat you will be fishing in is a center console 24 ft. Robin with lots of fishing room. The Robin handles the chop well yet handles the shallow water flat better. With Capt Randall Fowler everyday of fishing is a good day. Capt. Randall pushes his skills to the limit on every trip and makes your day on the water a memorable one.
